Toad, getting sick of seeing Mario and Luigi getting the spotlight, and wanting it all to himself (as well as a slice of Peach's delicious cake!), goes out to capture some of Bowser's minions so that they'll cough up Peach's Location (and also maybe the location to a Warp Zone to World 8).
