This is an old poem i wrote.
Any Criticism is welcome and wanted.
Dread skiff
Beneath the surface of the murky haze,
There lies the place of my final demise.
My last thoughts were of my happier days,
My life does flash before my eyes.
The deeper I sink the more I think, life,
Beyond the the shore, where none see or hear me.
When all this is done I shall feel no strife,
Very soon my soul shall be all but free.
No, my life has been too short, I must live,
my arms and legs are leaden and so stiff.
I struggle for life with nothing to give,
Again into the dark lifeless dread skiff.
I shall miss the light i will never see,
I shall miss the life that will never be.
