Growing up reading comics, there wasn't an issue that didn't feature a printed ad for Charles Atlas' "Dynamic Tension" program that promised to make a man out of you "in just seven days". I asked my friend Jedd to do his take on this ad. I really like how it turned out.

It's memorable when Vermy's kicking the book and saying it's "too long," but the highlight is how "stoopid" is spelled as if he means it in a certain way.

It's a parody of Charles Atlas' Dynamic Tension ads in the back of comics throught the 50s-80s.

Monty Python's Flying Circus must have also parodied it, then. There was fake infomercial cartoon in the series that actually mentioned Charles Atlas, so...
