If his feet are getting a good daily brushing it might also be a good idea to give him a good brushing on the belly and under the arms to get his fur nice and immaculate. Maybe giving his paws a good bath with some warm soapy water and another good scrubbing followed by towelling them dry. I'm sure he'll soon be looking well groomed even if it's a bit of a ticklish experience for him.
