Sketch illustration for my Sly Cooper fanfic. Believe me, writing fanfics is MUCH EASIER than drawing comics.
This is also how I do comics (and sometimes even signle pieces of fanart). First of all, I pen-sketch on a page of a exercise book I have only for those things. I usually use the checked ones, as you can see, because I don't know why, but I can draw better on them.
Then, when I'm happy, I take a piece of normal print paper and do the pencil sketch, usually with some modifies on the damn perspective/backgrounds. Then I start with the inking. I use china-ink pens, thickness 2.0 for the normal lines and 8.0 for the borders.
Then I scan and color on GIMP. Damn, I hope my new computer will be ready soon so I'll be able to use Photoshop.
Explain the Comic
After the events of Sly 2 (yes, I've added Kokitsune in them. You can see all the infos here, so I won't have to write all here: http://kyubikonanofakatsuki.deviantart.com/art/Sly-Cooper-Kokitsune-Krueger-155951532 ) and in the beginning of Sly 3, she leaved from prison thanks to her money (She corrupted people. Remember that she learned some 'tricks' when she was in the Yakuza?), she decided to move on her parent's homeland: Yokohama, Japan.
She realized that her relation with Rajan would be a total disaster, since he does even not know that Kokitsune loves him, so she started to be a little depressed. If it weren't for Baptiste (Kokitsune's second self, that Kokitsune hates. It's like a second person, they also interact together in some occasions. Sometimes, they're the same person at the same time, like now. In short, Kokitsune without Baptiste is very shy, easily scared and 'vulnerable'. Baptiste is her strong, not-so-innocent and surely not shy self. If you know Bayonetta, well... You got Baptiste), she would be totally lost.
She were leaving in the morning with all her things, to the airport to reach her homeland, when some strangers approached her... And who they were? Sly's band.
Kokitsune: -Mhm. I remember you guys. Your disguise is good, but I'll never forget who broke my heart-
Said her, with a calm yet a bit angry voice, glaring at Sly.
Sly: -We need... Help. It's a private question, I don't want to talk about it here-
Kokitsune: -Well then. Luckily there's another plane this evening... In this moment, my curiosity is higher than my hate for you, thief-
They arrived to Kokitsune's manor. The woman made them sit in the kitchen, while she was pouring the remaining of her breakfast (coffee) in many cups, for her and for them.
Sly told Kokitsune why they was searching her, and about their gang of thieves.
Sly: -See, we need a lynx like you...-
Kokitsune: -Excuse me-
Sly: -I mean, a FOX...-
Kokitsune: -Nah, don't worry. I admit, I got a lot from my father... So yes, call me lynx. My ancestors where all caracals, linxes...-
Sly: -... Okkkk. A lynx like you could be our spy in disguise. Carmelita don't know that you just corrupted the people in the prison, so she thinks you're alright. As a spy, you can go everywere, searching informations for us...-
Kokitsune: -Nein. Kapiert? You just want to use me!-
Sly: -No! Listen, I didn't want to do to you all that things...-
Bentley: -Oh, that's a pity. We know someone that would love a woman like you...-
