Seriously though, a quick sketch I did during the boredom of work. I got this idea in my head while listening to the song "Behind Blue Eyes" and also goes along with a fan fiction I have been working on for some time now...
Scar reflects on the past, and what he did to his brother and nephew, blaming his father's cruelty towards him for his actions...

What it's like to be hated
To be fated to telling only lies

You should listen to some classic rock dude...the classics drive most of the popular rock bands today...take Pink Floyd...Korn actually did a remake of Another Brick in the Wall, which is a song originally done by Pink Floyd...and I have heard quite a few good newer rock bands do some excellent takes on a few good classics...
Thank you...the face behind Scar is supposed to be a vision of his father as he reflects on the past. The story I have going begins with Scar's birth, and carries throughout as he grows up and throughout his reign of the pridelands and his death...it centers mainly around Scar and is basically my interpretation of what caused him to be the way he was...in this case, his father's hatred of him, which was caused by the fact that he didn't want another son to begin with, and he could never learn to love Scar and treated him with cruelty...my idea is that when Scar killed Mufasa, it was to get revenge on his father, by destroying what he loved the most...
Hmm, thing is, you're humanizing (as opposed to demonizing, not the meaning of anthropomorphism) Scar, when in fact he is the epitome of a movie bad guy; dark, jealous, uncaring, avaricious, and ruthless. He's a guy you love to hate 'cuz he has no redeeming qualities.
Still, an alternate interpretation would be interesting to read.

Now...the first story in this series "The Legacy of Ahadi" this is kind of the inspiration that started me writing my own Lion King fan fic...it is...rather long, but it is worth taking a look at and very well written I must say...now, as for Scar being 'the epitome of a movie bad guy' and the fact that I am 'humanizing him' granted, yes he one of those bad guys people love to hate, but you also must keep in mind the idea of the innocence of childhood...as with any 'bad' person, whether real or not...they are innocent at some point...and with this story, it is kind of my interpretation of how Scar 'lost his innocence'...you will find another interpretation of this in the first part of "The Chronicles" Which I have linked you to...and...oddly enough...Scar is my all time favorite Disney villan...always has been, and I believe always will be ;)
