Old art I still take hecking pride in.
Inspired by watching a friend play Hollow Knight, I created my own OC Grave Keeper the moth that looks after the Resting Grounds.
I knew I needed some background practice and decided to take up as a challenge. On a whim I tried to copy the game design's shading of the rocks and gravestones with pencil, and to my shock I actually found I could do it although never dared to try this before. Seems like years of flat arting yet studies of shading and lighting this paid off as this just somehow worked out.
Still today really dig how shockingly well this turned out, got the physical art framed on my wall. Is not very big though, as I did drew it in a small corner of my sketch book, so there's that. Still hecking proud of this even today.
