The queen eats fruit and candy
The bishop nuts and cheese
And when I am a grown man
I'll taste just what I please
The honey from the bee
The shellfish from the sea
The earth,
The wind,
A girl, someone to share these things with me
I added Scarlet to the end playing the song, which I am attempting to learn to play on my Uke, when I get the hang of playing the thing in the first place. If I do maybe I'll record a version of the song and upload it here. We'll see.

Have you ever thought about illustrating a Jethro Tull song? (They're a 60's group too!) Ian Anderson wrote several songs with animal imagery: "The Mouse Police Never Sleeps" "Bungle in the Jungle"... and then there's "Sealion:"
You wear a shiny skin and a funny hat
The Almighty Animal Trainer lets it go at that
You bark ever-so-slightly at the Trainer's gun
With you whiskers melting in the noon-day sun
You flip and you flop under the Big White Top
Where the long-legged ring-mistress starts and stops
But you know, after all, the act is wearing thin
As the crowd grows uneasy and the boos begin
But you balance your world on the tip of your nose
You're a Sealion with a ball at the carnival
You wear a shiny skin and a funny hat
The Almighty Animal Trainer lets it go at that
You bark ever-so-slightly at the Trainer's gun
With you whiskers melting in the noon-day sun
You flip and you flop under the Big White Top
Where the long-legged ring-mistress starts and stops
But you know, after all, the act is wearing thin
As the crowd grows uneasy and the boos begin
But you balance your world on the tip of your nose
You're a Sealion with a ball at the carnival
