Like any good puppy, Dennis watches the ball go, before turning his attention back to you, not sure what he's meant to do next...
Or at least that's how it was with my dog, he didn't understand the concept of "fetch". If he did chase the ball, he rarely brought it back. And if he did bring it back, he'd never give the ball so you could throw it again.
