Oh absolutely- all dexterity goes completely extinct, nobody able to bend arms more than a couple inches, every handpaw everywhere permanently stuck as quivering balloons- machines for all! Ones that will also get infected with the chip, but instead of getting tubby, the infected machines go out of their way to stuff, grope, jiggle, and pamper their users silly, not letting them stop wobbling for even a second!
And that's how we all become wobbling mountains of fat. I can see whoever started this infection (now a certain feline as big as a continent) enjoying this, even as they are fed by an army of robots.

I'd probably be a hugely fat Draconequus (think Discord from MLP) but with enough helium to make myself light enough to walk. And the Robots would provide entertainment, only its focused on promoting submitting to a life of gluttony. You're already huge, why not go bigger? The universe is a huge place...so there's plenty of room to grow!
