One of the last sequences in Ten Ever-Lovin' Blue-Eyed Years With Pogo is a bit where Barnstable Bear declares he's seceding from Pogo and starting his own comic. Here he uses a rag doll to practice the kinds of shenanigans and witty dialogue and fantastic action he figures he'll get into. It's only me that thinks it looks like a YCH offering.
