You are not the first person to ask me that this week, but honestly, I haven't. I know I probably have a few too many, even with them being sorta compartmentalized into different storylines, they do all share the same galaxy.
However, if I had to venture a guess... I probably have well over 100 that could be clearly defined as "characters", and plenty more undeveloped/unused designs.

Nothing wrong with having a lot, though! I guess I should have mentioned that they don't all share the same level of importance within their respective storylines, either--a lot of them would be secondary, supporting characters, or even just recurring background characters, or exist primarily to be eye candy with little in the way of actual purpose or development. Or babies. Babies don't have a whole lot of in-depth character history or complex motivations or do anything too complicated.
I know how that gets... I'm only capable of my output because I have no other hobbies, and I had mastered the whole "generate content for the sake of having content" thing thanks to DA.
