Another Story for

Vergil walked through the forest at night once again. Another particularly extra dark night, the clouds blocking out the stars and moon.

Yet even with this absence of light, Vergil still knew where he needed to go. He could sense where he needed to be, who he needed to return to.

It was an unbreakable bond all had with who Vergil was going to meet. For all who met him, became a part of him. One with him. Forever

Which also was the reason Vergil once again now whore his wetsuit, and carried some goodies for him. He wanted the experience to go smoothly for his friend, plus it did make the eventual ride a lot more fun.

After venturing further into the dark woods, the winged wolf soon came upon the one who had been beckoning him

The pair of glowing red eyes looming above him. Along with glimmers of violet where his friends mouth was, exposing heat sensitive pits. It was Shade, the colossal serpent of darkness

"Welcome back home my little one," the huge serpent said "I take it you indeed heard my call,"

"Hi Shade," Vergil said setting down the good's he brought for Shade. Some pizza and coffee "I sure did,"

"Ah," Shade said seeing what the wolf had brought. "That's one of the reasons I chose to reform you, you're such a generous wolf,"

"Well, I doubt most of your prey care to bring you treats too," Vergil said opening one of the boxes of pizza and handing Shade some

Yes," Shade said "My prey, even if I choose to reform them all, like you. You're all eternally mine, forever bound to the darkness that makes up my coils. I may allow you to walk this world of your own free will. Yet know always that the darkness will call you to return to me. To become a part of me, always and forever."

Vergil walked over and put his hand on the serpents large coils

Even from the outside, Vergil could faintly hear the countess cries of souls now part of Shade. Calling for him, asking for the wolf to join the mighty serpent once again

Shade had just finished off the thermos of coffee Vergil had brought

"Well, my appetizer is now done," the large serpent said, his head and upper body looming over the little wolf "Ready to go back where you belong Vergil?"

"Indeed you big friendly noodle," Vergil said

With that, Shade retracted his curved teeth. Making the trip in safer for Vergil. As he engulfed the wolf whole and hoisted him up. Allowing gravity and his smooth wetsuit to make the wolf slide back down into his cavernous coils.

"Woot!" Vergil happily cried as the wet, squishy insides acted as a giant slip and slide for the wolf to travel down in

Eventually, he did run out of momentum. Ending up deep within Shades coils. Pizza and puddles of coffee littering the floor of them. Along with the voices the wolf heard outside becoming all the more clearer

"Welcome back to Shade,"

"Rejoin Shade,"

"We are Shade,"

"One with Shade,"

Vergil got some pizza and sat next to one of the walls of Shade's coils. Soon enough the darkness that made up this serpent would consume him once more. Being cradled and nurtured by the inky dark embrace of Shade's being. Forever floating in the endless sea of serpent and souls. To be carried with the giant serpent everywhere that he slithers.

The wolf gave the serpents coils a friendly pat

Back outside, Shade rested his head upon his long body. Where he felt the patting

"Welcome home little one," Shade said

"Glad to be home," Vergil said getting cozy, awaiting to be reabsorbed into the serpents being
