Here we have Sedire, relaxing on the beach. She's pretty shy here as she's not sure how to really act on the beach or be private without being instinctively provocative :P

Not many people know that in the canon universe, Sedire's not as evil as I make her out to be in all the possession stuff I've gotten. She actually has her own body, and has two personalities:
- Her confident succubus self, which is her original self and how she acts when she wants to have fun with someone and get energy from essence or intense feelings (think Darkstalkers succubi; such things are delicacies and boost their energy more, but they can also eat normal food). She's also a tease and a troll like you've probably seen in a few of the tfs I've gotten
- The "off-hours" personality. After being in the surface world for some time, she finds that she enjoys the non-succubus life a lot as well, as she realizes that she has a side to herself that enjoys the personal, private and more intimate life that succubi don't necessarily get. The biggest interest to her is anime... which has made her a closet otaku (God help you if you screw up a cosplay). She watched so much of anime that it actually damaged her eyes, and she has to use her magic to enhance them when she's in "succubus mode". The only problem is that she's so used to being seductive that she's not 100% sure how to be "normal", and is pretty self-conscious and shy as you can see here. Her playful and more open side does show when she gets to actually know people.

Pretty much, yeah. I imagine the marking in two situations, only one being viable in this canon world currently:
1) It flashes when she uses her magic. She decided to add the whole tattoo thing because she thought it was neat :P
2) It's used as a "seal" of sorts, symbolizing that she now has full control over a body she possesses. Naturally this doesn't happen in this universe.

I know this was posted two years ago but reading this and seeing the posts of her later makes me think that the tattoo thing is something she picked up as an otaku seeing it used in manga and anime a lot on succubus' and she liked the idea (as an otaku) and its something she implements into her succubus form for the reason she's a nerd but its not my character its more of my canon because it feels adorkable (also i love the idea of succubus' wanting to live human type of life and try to establish REAL love relationship's instead of fake love they usally get so shes a win in my book also shes a dork and i love dorks)
It is like night and day with the dichotomy of Sedire's attitude. Being so willing to head so far out from her comfort zone to live a mundane life in itself either speaks volumes of her personality and/or a powerful goal which can only be attained by being normal. Is quite rare for people to stray so far from what would be her ordinary, especially having more capabilities as a succubus, to pursue a mundane life she decided to. Opening oneself to vulnerabilities is very bold and in itself can lead to a lot of character development. ^.^
