This shake has the consistency of a thin syrup and the flavor of sweet and salty wildberry.

MisoBiso Shakes are an easily preserved meal ration common amongst spacers in most regions of the Aurasian Galaxy, especially in regions with more direct Corporate influence. The name is a portmanteau of the words Misobi and Obiso. The misobi berries are the beverage's key ingredient. They are grown on Corporate funded, genetically engineered, fruit-bearing vines in the CC (Corporate Capital) Obiso Medicap district.

The shakes are relatively inexpensive, but are supersaturated with enough nutrients to keep an Earth humanoid (or any similarly structured race or derivative) healthy. Corporate studies have shown that such individuals can survive purely off MisoBiso and water for well over 30 years with relatively few side effects. Because of their high protein and vitamin count, MisoBiso shakes are one of the healthiest stock meals available on the market, and because of their relatively compact crate sizes many space vessels choose to stock up on bottles of MisoBiso rather than bulkier trail ration options.


COMMON SIDE EFFECTS:
- Cautionary Use Symptom: Muscle Growth
Imbibing MisoBiso in tandem with physical labor has been known to support rapid muscular developments. For this reason, it has become a popular (and interestingly, legal) supplement among sports athletes, and is the leading choice of ship rations for labor crews across the galaxy.

- Improper Use Hazard: Staining
Spilling MisoBiso can cause permanent stains on most substances including metallic surfaces. For this reason, some cultures (and eccenteic artists) will use the drink as a paint or ink.
Simarly, MisoBiso can also cause a blue or purple discoloration of an imbiber's hair and saliva. This sometimes occurs when individual has their first MisoBiso shake, but will also occur when an individual imbibes more than the maximum recommended daily amount (no more than 3 bottles, or 1800mL per day).

- Improper Use Symptom: Weight Gain
Drinking more than the maximum recommended daily amount of MisoBiso, or ingesting other caloric intake while already imbibing the maximum recommended daily amount, can cause abrupt weight gain.

As such, this product is sometimes used in underfunded farming cultures as a stockfeed supplement.

- Withdrawl Symptom: Lethargy
MisoBiso gives a stimulating boost of energy, and unlike many other supplements will not later cause a crash. However, regular imbibers of the beverage will often experience significant fatigue upon sudden suspension of the product.


REPUTATION AND RECEPTION
When MisoBiso was first produced, the public viewed it as a miracle supplement. In the eyes of many skeptics the product was too good to be true, but it wasn't long before such skepticisms were wiped away by the products superb performance.

In no time, the bargain miracle had spread across the Aurasian Galactic Corporate settlements and was even being sold by billions of non-affiliated distributors.

However, due to its easy accessibility and affordable pricing it became a popular product amongst space pirates and in areas with more frequent pirate activity it has gained a sour reputation.
