Spirit Shard: Digidestined Blaze Intro
Welcome to another introduction of a Spirit Shard, Blaze from the Digital World. He absolutely loves Digimon and the Digital World but sadly he has grown a distaste for humans. I hope you guys enjoy the story below and I hope you guys stay tuned for more chapters as I grow more inspired to write more.
BE FOREWARNED: MENTIONS OF CHILD ABUSE ARE IN THIS STORY
Blaze was born with parents who had... extremely high expectations of him and they were very strict. Blaze wasn't allowed any toys growing up unless they were gonna teach him life lessons and was sent to private schools since the beginning. Every time Blaze failed their expectations he would get beatings and forced to go without dinner.
One day, Blaze got such a beating as he failed his science class that Blaze was forced to crawl to his room crying and apologising for failing his parents. When Blaze's door was shut, a beam of light had shot through his window and towards his bed as a Digivice and D-Terminal appeared on his pillow. Blaze was in awe at the lights and puzzled at the strange objects or "toys" that had appeared on his pillow. He thought it would be best to not say anything as he knew it would be taken away and destroyed if they found it. Blaze was able to keep it hidden and secret from his parents as they never bothered to check up on him for the rest of the evening.
Once his parents went to sleep, the Digivice glowed up and made an arrow for him to follow, as Blaze limped in the directions he was going, he never realised that dots of blood were leaving a trail. The arrow lead him to his father's computer in which auto-booted up and opened up a portal to the Digital World. Blaze was suddenly pulled in and landed on a beach where he met Crabmon and Gomamon who seemed to have been expecting him. Blaze was understandably confused and freaked out that he was being stared at by these supposed creatures and suddenly on a beach.
Crabmon & Gomamon tried to explain to Blaze as to where he was, why he was here and what they are but Blaze was still confused and hurt. Gomamon was really concerned with the condition Blaze was in as neither of them were expecting their human partner to appear all covered in cuts and bruises. Blaze really wanted to return home as he was worried that if his parents don't find him in his room then he'd get even more punishment which he then explained to the two Digimon. They agreed to help him return home for now but they explained they'll send him a message to his Digivice on when and how to return to the Digital World and with that all said and down, they went to the same computer Blaze came through and sent him back home. Without a second thought, Blaze limped back to his room and returned to his bed.
Next morning, his mother slammed open his door and dragged him out of bed as they found that the computer was on all night and that his blood trailed to and from the computer room. She wanted to know why he used the computer and when Blaze explained where he had been she called him a liar and started beating on him yet again. After that, Blaze was forced to skip breakfast, get ready for school and to walk to school with a fake reason as to why he is covered in wounds.
At this point, Blaze had had enough and ran away to a canal where he stayed hidden for a week. He was expecting to have to keep hidden from other people's sight especially the police as he had expected his parents to have called them about him being missing... But nothing. When he returned home, he knocked on the door and his mother answered, she wanted to know why her son had returned and then explained that she has managed to fall pregnant once again and that he was no longer needed. Blaze had been disowned by his own parents, he had no friends to turn to and no family to go back to, he had snapped and told her how much he hated them. His own mother then said she no longer wishes to look at him ever again and decided to cry assault towards nearby officers.
Blaze was now forced to runaway and flee the police and it was at this point his Digivice decided to glow and send Blaze a message to his D-Terminal on how to return to the Digital World. Blaze was ducking in and out of alleyways to loose the police and when he gave them the slip temporarily he decided to bolt it towards the local library where a policeman spotted him. The police continued their chase as Blaze was going through the hallways towards the computer room with loads of people in. Blaze got to the farthest computer which strangely already had the portal open and Blaze shone his Digivice at the screen as he was pulled in just before the police nabbed him and the computer quickly closed the portal behind him.
When he had arrived, Blaze explained everything that had happened to Crabmon & Gomamon who were waiting for him on the other side. Blaze's heart had grown cold and dark towards humans and he explained that he no longer wishes to be referred to as a human as he now hates all humans. Blaze dries his tears as he, Crabmon & Gomamon make their way from the beach and plan to make camp as Blaze now plans to live completely in the Digital World and only cares for the Digimon.
