Dee is not sure of their past before they were put into a Pokemon Sex Trafficking ring. They did learn very quickly though they did not like the feeling of transforming. It was uncomfortable, especially with how many times they were forced to transform into different Pokemon for different clients, or even forced to transform into something ugly or disgusting as punishment. It wasn't until they were rescued by the volunteer group Tides was a part of that they could say they felt legitimate happiness. Tides understood Dee's problems, and promised to never make them transform if they didn't want to. Instead, Dee chose to just wear costume ears and a tail in honor of being a part of a loving eeveelution family. They promised to do whatever they could for their family, as they didn't want anyone to go through the same troubles they did.
