Bio:
Orphaned after losing his parents in an avalanche, little Hubert Logan was left to fend for himself in the forest by Lake Petropolis. He was then taken in by a pack of wolves, and was raised by them as one of their own. While living with them, Hubert learned how to survive in the wild, and began to become one with nature. Years past, and Hubert became a very savage wild-man, eventually leaving the wolf pack he was raised in to live by himself. He then developed the mentality of the beasts he shared his forest home with, and because he grew very long (and messy) dreadlocks, he decided to change his name to "Dread Wolverine."
No one in Petropolis even knew about Dread's existence until one day, when he made a discovery that changed his life forever. He found the city of Petropolis, and because of the fancy neon lights, hot babes, and noisy arcades, he thought it looked like fun. So, he decided to check it out, but unfortunately, things didn't quite work out for him. Upon his arrival, Dread was jumping around the heavy traffic, crushing cars, throwing traffic cops around, and even urinating on the streets. While Dread was having the time of his life in Petropolis, the citizens certainly didn't agree. It wasn't long before he was tranquilized, and sent to jail for being a public offense to the city.
While in jail, he befriended ex-TUFF agent Jack Rabbit, whom he basically saw as his surrogate mother. While it took some getting used to, Jack decided to recruit Dread into his gang of crooks, and used his savage nature to help him break out of jail. Upon their escape, Jack decided to use his time on the gang to properly educate him in becoming a perfect criminal, mostly to show him who his friends and enemies were. While Dread is still a bit foggy on who's who in the world of crime, he still stuck with Jack, seeing him as his "master."
When Jack formed an alliance with Lady Malmsteen years later, he offered Dread to assist her as one of her henchmen in her criminal pursuits. Dread was a bit heart-broken that he had to leave his "master," but after Jack told him that Malmsteen has a luxurious castle with servant waiting on him hand and foot, Dread quickly got over it. He then assisted Malmsteen in kidnapping the contestants of the Miss Petropolis pageant, and drain them of their essence. When Team Katswell intervened to rescue the hostages, Dread remembered Jack's teachings, and fought with Dudley Puppy. But, when Dudley fired his red grenades, Dread thought they were bouncy balls, and began fetching them. Little did he realize that they were actually non-lethal explosives, and they blew up in his face as he fetched them. After Malmsteen pinned the blame on the team's butler, Rocky, and fled the crime scene, Dread and the others were taken back to prison, but Dread has crossed paths with Team Katswell again after that.
Personality & Traits:
Dread basically has the mentality of a wild, savage beast, due to living in the wilderness his entire life. That means he's strong, but not very smart. He always rushes into a conflict without a plan, mostly relying on brute force rather than a fully though out strategy. But, he still doesn't care who gets hurt from his rampages, as long as he protects those he considers his friends, which is Jack Rabbit, Lady Malmsteen, and the rest of their gangs.
Speaking of the gangs he's a part of, Dread sees Jack Rabbit as his "surrogate mother" since their time in prison. As for Lady Malmsteen, Dread was hesitant about joining up with her, since he thinks Jack is his "master," but he's gotten used to her over time, but still misses Jack. Everyone else on both gangs pretty much treats him like a pet rather than an actual member, but he doesn't let it get to him.
Dread also enjoys any kind of meat, the fresher the better. He also doesn't like eating anything healthy, mainly because he doesn't understand that junk food is actually bad for one's health. And, he doesn't like wearing civilized clothing, and prefers to "let it all hang out." But, he's still the most loyal member of Jack and Malmsteen's gangs, and wouldn't leave either of them no matter what.
Well, that's Dread Wolverine for you.
