Fenadu is a character that I've had around for a while - usually he finds himself in an antagonist role of some kind. Originally, he was some sort of super powered assassin-type character who was fused with a sentient flower. The idea would be to portray him carrying out missions with deadly successes, sometimes setting things up so an entire room of targets is taken out with the help of his plant (her name's Rosebud, and she's pretty intelligent).
But then there'd be scenes like this, where he's out in the forest somewhere playing his concert flute, or reading and memorizing bits of poetry. He prefers Romantic-Type poetry. Don't get that confused with Romance!
He also has a close connection to nature - but that can be expected when you have a symbiotic flower attached to you. In the story he was originally going to appear in he even had the ability to heal/grow flowers by bleeding on them - one scene had him finding a rare flower that was dying, so he sliced his hand to bleed on it and help it grow.
And if you're wondering about the tattoo, for my stories it's usually some kind of long-lasting dye or paint.
