The lake monster no less surprised, as the pail was from the bunny's sandbox.

Not a redraw of anything anywhere. I just had a silly idea pop into my head and drew it, for a change. This feels like the start to a story I can't write. I just know the lake monster is way more terrified by this situation than the rabbit is.

The rabbit is obviously Walt Kelly-influenced although it's also sliding into  bakertoons territory somehow. If the lake monster has any basis, it's on remembering how Cecil the Sea-Sick Sea Serpent looked.
