2017 art, I wanted to draw a big, tough, burly military guy and this is the end result.

His name is Jaala Aran, and he's the commander of a Cervidian battalion, and known for being very tough, macho, and arrogant--all the traits you'd expect.

He also fills the role of "walking tank" pretty well, given his size and strength. He likes heavy armor and even heavier guns. Of course, here he's only depicted carrying his sidearm and some grenades, he generally doesn't carry his machinegun around on base.
