I know I'm a bit late to the Doom: Eternal + Animal Crossing meme thing hype, but here's my idea. Isabelle doesn't just call Doomguy to join the smash, she also calls Duke Nukem and Master Chief from Halo. I know that many people want Master Chief to be in Smash as his own character but I think he would best as Doomguys echo fighter. At first there was Doomguy, then Duke Nukem and then Master Chief. Doomguy being the main character and duke Nukem and Master Chief being echo fighters of his. Also, it's been awhile since Duke Nukem got some action. He can't swear in the game though.

Master Chief would be a great fit in the crossover. But I heard of duke and doom before but i don't play there series. The only thing I'm expecting for Sakurai is another Sonic character possibly and Shantae as another female fighter in the crossover in the Smash Bros universe.
