When I first started well over a decade and a half ago, most of my anthro art was a lot like this. Innocent. Cute. Depicting simple scenes.
It feels good to go back to that once in a while.
2017 art, featuring a young striped jackal puppy, a race I rarely draw nowadays.

Aww....Its like what life was like in Kindergarten.....
All the other kids would play in the playground.... Me and my friends would go through the bushes and plants. They were not that big now, but when I was small...It was like a jungle. We would look for animals and take em in class to show. The biggest one we found was a Baby raccoon, but..uh....u can imagine what happened when he brought it in to class......heh heh
We also found small bugs like ladybugs and butterflies

This was what my childhood was like as well--I was mostly raised by my grandparents in my early years and I spent a lot of time out in the backyard. There was an area next to the garage my grandpa had set up for me to dig and play in, and on the other side of the garage were some old concrete chunks from an old patio or something, it was fun to turn those over and find all the bugs. There were also some random lilies growing in that area that attracted a lot of butterflies--but also a lot of bees and wasps.
