Finished these character designs for Nuclearzeon2! Who once again approached me with really neat ideas :D
She wants to be a reindeer, he wants to stop being called a penguin. Together, they were really fun to bring to life! I was also requested to reference the style of the classic Rudolph special, which was a neat experience!
Fun fact: female reindeer have antlers, which is why Billie here wears a twig on her head to appear more like one! Billie's character is also a play on the trope of Christmas media portraying reindeer as white-tailed deer. This idea of Nuclear's I found really clever!
Fun fact 2: The great auk (which Tux here is) was the original "penguin"! What we know today as penguins started carrying the title some time after the great auk's extinction. Even so, it's a title Tux isn't a huge fan of lol
