Before I spent money on artwork I collected figures, mostly Leblon Delienne and Demons et Merveilles cartoon statues as well as many famous movie monsters, robots and model spaceships, but some of my favorites are the five 1:1 PVC figures I got on a single trip to China last September. It seems like so long ago now.

It was a 10 day "taste of china" tour and we had to visit a factory every day in order to get a highly subsidized trip price. The coolest thing though was that anything we bought on the trip was flown back with us at no charge via China East Airlines. These figures were found in several shops in the Shanghai underground markets and were not even that expensive at around $30-40 each. I could not wait to do another trip like this again knowing better how to get around, what I want and where to go to get it. But that is not happening. Rona ruins everything.
