I SAY! Nauv seems to have captured the elusive Cluster Lizard! Careful, Nauv! I've heard the females can be extremely aggressive.
Nauv and I at the Star Trek Party at Starfest... Check out the branding "accident" on my shoulder. OUCH!! The yellow is iodine, not gangrene. Why are my eyes always Satan red in photos!? >_<

awww hugs that's not healthy you should treat your body better because one day it's just going to fail on you please take care of your self and stop making your body starve of nutrients it need to be healthy and strong and you should start thinking about eating things with protean in it, it should keep your w8 down and keep you healther please think it through before something bad happens
Ugh... It's really not. I totally fucked it up. I'm trying really hard to keep it from getting infected, but it can only be bandaged if I wrap all the way around my chest or use a ton of tape because of it's location, and that's super uncomfortable. Plus it makes lifting stuff at work and sleeping very painful.
Well, it mostly just felt weird since the nerves got murdered so quickly, but they're coming back to life now as nerve zombies and their wrath is... What I'm trying to say is RIGHT NOW IT HURTS LIKE A BITCH!!! It's almost two weeks old now, and it still looks like shit. I'm getting back aches, can't sleep on my left side, it hurts to lift shit at work, the scab is so thick I can hardly lift my arm to shave my pit, the iodine has stained a TON of my shirts, need I go on?
Red Eye is caused by looking directly at the camera lens when its flash goes off. This is created by the retina blood vessels reflecting light (red) directly back to the camera. Try looking to one side, above or below the camera lens when having your picture taken. With Black and White film, the eyes tend to be brighter. Its simply a wavicale thing.
Sorry your branding went bad. They probably used too thick of a bit of metal that was too hot. For humans, you want a very thin piece of metal, a somewhat lower temperature and several separate 'brands' to make the final design. Human skin is too thin to accept a full brand without extreme damage, which later becomes nothing but an ugly mass that shows little, or no definition.

Hey thanks for the photo tips! I did the brand myself with a knife, and yeah, it was way too hot, I was just too drunk to realize it. It's actually healing up surprisingly nicely, but I am going to have to have some scarification and tattooing around the edges to define it once it's healed completely.
Well, now you know the truth. Branding, like slave training, is best done by professionals. Not Amateurs. Good to read that it is healing. Watch for infection, and though iodine is good for keeping infection away, it burns. Try Neosporin. As a cream it does have its faults, however there is a 'pain relieving' version that is well worth the slight mess and it does not stain the skin. Yes, it does wash out of clothing.
Yeah iodine is what I used on it. It's nearly a month old now, so only the very middle is still a scab. It's also my fifth brand, so I'm familiar with the process. This one was more of a self-mutilation thing than a body modification. Neosporin is okay but ONLY if the wound isn't covered, as it will keep the scab wet and the burn will open up wider. I'll start using neosporin once it's not so deep in the middle to try to even out the scar.
I think my eyes just always look that way... even if I don't look at the camera. Except when I'm outside.
