I had to work double shifts the past week so had trouble getting into the necessary "groove" to finish any artwork off, but I managed to get this one done I guess.
I don't know if people will feel as if I've "cheated" with this submission because I used an existing model of Orkesstra from my earlier reference sheet as a base but... that's kinda the reason I made the reference sheet!
I like the way this armour came out for the most part, although it kinda bothers me that I have to cover up so much of her lovely iridescent skin with the ceramicoral armour plates.
The wee anchor attached to the front of her cloak acts as a counterweight against the trailing cloak weight.
I'm not sure what to do about her feet - whether to cover them up with some kind of footwear or leave them as they are.
Annotations took too long to do again.

I think people might be getting confused about the 'extreme temperature' part of the sub-title.
I don't mean 'extreme temperature' as in the kind of things Samus' Varia Suit has to put up with, rather that the ceramic armour is more appropriate for use in an environment like a desert - where it gets very hot in the daytime, but very cold at night.
Armour made from steel, rather than ceramic, would be incredibly uncomfortable in that kind of environment because of the way metals heat up very quickly.

No no, you misunderstood me. I only meant the way it looked, not how it functioned XD
That part I understood totally. It's not a full body suit like samus's, so it only makes sense that you were talking about more natural climates like you explained here.

And yeah that one's quite a bit different than her other variations. It looks more like a wetsuit or something instead of armor XD (maybe that's why you like it...?)
No magical morph balls there... but you'd think it would at least increase flexibility based on how it looks.
...aaaand I'm rambling on now haha.
Oh, and my favorites have to be the phazon and light suits. Too bad they were so very temporary. :/
