I recently mentioned in a comment response under one of my newer drawings that "...the dragons from my setting are for the most part neutral (...) " in regards to their relation to kobolds. And that's when I realized that, aside from Athlakhana, I haven't posted any dragons that are native to the setting I use.
Yeah, all the chromatic dragons I drew previously are not native to my setting.
The ones that are native follow a somewhat similar coloring convention (there are dragon species that are Red, Blue, Green, etc), but they are different from D&D or Pathfinder dragons in most other things, including different "Elemental Arrangements" (all based on a system I made for myself more than 15 years ago).
I might actually make another series of Dragon Drawings based off of that.
So, without further ado, I'm presenting the first example of my "native dragons".
The Blue Aqua Dragon is a species belonging to the 'true dragon' family. Reaching on average between 25 to 35 meters in length it serves as the alpha predator of most lakes, rivers, swamps and coastlines within my setting.
It has reltively short but robust hind limbs, which combined with a massive long tail, make it function pretty well as an amphibious organism, letting it hunt both on land and in water (the latter still being more effective).
Blue Aqua Dragons are not very speedy, but they make up for it with high endurance. Their breath weapon is a high-pressure stream of frigid water, which it fires at land-walking prey in order to quickly dispatch of it (if the shock from the sudden cold doesn't kill it, the pressure most definitely will).
They do posses a small pair of vestigial which serve as a fair of extra fins for extra stability while swimming.
Although they often hunt on land animals, they mostly resort to that when there aren't enough large fish in their territory. If given the choice between red meat or fish, they will always choose fish. With that in mind, if a tribe of kobolds or koboldi decide to move into the territory of an Aqua Dragon, the best way for them to appease their potential benefactor is to prepare for them a feast of backed or roasted fish and other aquatic creatures like shrimp or crabs. An offering like this is more than likely to win over a Blue Aqua Dragon, who will then even provide the tribe with food for them to cook up, rewarding them with the scraps and the right to safely inhabit the same area as them.
As mentioned above, this might become another series of drawings, so be on the look out for more of my dragons.

Aaaaaand now it's time to plug my other stuff... again
My commissions are still open with lineart for 10$, fully colored drawings for 30$ and reference sheets for 45-50$
more information and details on that can be found here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37104307/
I also still have two other little koboldi that could also use a good home with a kind owner!
