The Beginning of a Journey

A little something I've been working on for the past weeks, trying to get as much feedback before posting from friends. This is the start of a series that I hope a lot of people might enjoy. I plan on working on other projects with my character, such as him meeting new people. This character is a big part of me and I share a very deep connection with him. I've had people in the past judge my character poorly to the point that I've considered getting rid of him, it hurts when people I know and trust take apart something I've worked hard to build. I just hope This story and the others to follow will allow me to regain some lost faith in my character.

It's a good first chapter of introduction for a fantasy story, the only constructive criticism I feel to give you is about the paragraphs's lenght. They're a llittle too long and sometime it's hard to follow the script without getting lost, try to make shorter paragraphs next time ;)
