It'll be easy to find some minimum wage jobs, but I doubt you want that risk in the LA area. I used to be a SoCal fur until I moved north several years back.

Heh, I know how you feel. I spent two years hunting for a job after I graduated and got nothing. Then I got a shitty phone service job I spent two years at before I found my current position that I like.

Try what I did, go to every store you can find (take a bunch of CV's with you), and just ask them if they have work. You're almost guarenteed to find *one*.

On the other hand, it pretty accurately reflects the experience of the avid RC flyer. I've got a friend out in the Sierras who used to fly planes, and it wasn't a matter of whether they would crash, it was how long you would get to enjoy them before they died in flaming agony (or at least little splinters of balsa). Painting "Hopes and Dreams" on the wings would have just been an invitation for the big spiky boot of fate to descend on them.

Wow.... that's TOTALLY how I've been feeling. Nothing like getting your bachelors degree, and then having to work fast food 'cause you can't find anything better... ;_;
