"I swear us bats had nothing to do with it!"
I had a local convention that still went on here in town. Decided to spread the word about bats letting people know it wasn't our fault! Many people loved it! Every couple of steps, had to stop for a picture lol. It took a global pandemic to get people to notice me at this convention however, as it's my third year wearing it there and of course, NOW everyone wants to take pics of the bat XD
As for the con - the guy running it postponed back in March to July in hopes things would get better...sadly it did not. He is a really swell guy and does so much for the nerd community here....if he would had canceled, the contracts would had put him and his family in massive debt...so the show had to go on.
