In the beginning of the story, there was a meeting among tribal leaders to discuss a "problem"-- some wolves are having their predatory instincts kick into overdrive and its making them attack others.
Many of the wolf tribe's leaders are... kinda dicks. Who don't care.
This poor girl was just hit by that problem, and she tried to bite off more than she could chew. The good news is, it looks like it wore off. The bad news is, she has to convince HIM of that...
