Davie goes in for a checkup with Dr. Coy, who is delighted to point out the features of the cub growing inside him. The raccoon is much less excited to see it though.
Perhaps it's simply the difference between knowing he's pregnant and KNOWING he's pregnant.
Maybe it's the fact that he's this big already and there's only one cub in there.
Or maybe it's because he only came in for a physical and this is the result!

On the one hand, this is genuinely sweet and cute. On the other hand, the flavor text for it has me genuinely worried about Davie's ultimate fate. I mean, I'm also curious as to why it's so big - is Dr. Coy, as in an earlier pic featuring the two, lying about how far along he is and/or how many are in there? But mostly I'm concerned and hoping that everything works out for the poor little trash-panda. Bravo, Dekopuma; you have created fictional characters so inherently likable that I take a genuine interest in their fate. That's hard to do in this day and age.
Don't worry, Davie might end up unhappy and uncomfortable before it's all over, but Dr. Coy will step in before any real harm comes to the young raccy.

Well, thank you; that's actually a genuine relief to here.
I must say, despite the fact that Dr. Coy is something of Davie's tormentor in their pics together... I kind of ship them together, and I don't know why. There's just something weirdly cute about Davie's daughter growing up viewing Dr. Coy as the closest thing she has to a mom... especially if this leads to her begging Davie for a little sister or two, and the doting daddy ultimately asks for Dr. Coy's help in making it happen, which the lusty and very virile coyote is of course happy to assist with.
