The Armour of a Daemonium is composed of Foam Steel, a form of metal that is 1/3 the weight of steel while still retaining a similar strength. The plates are Laminated with a polymer like coating to help reduce fragmentation and the backs lined with thick padding to reduce the blunt trauma of high caliber weapons. It is one of the few materials that can safely be worn while still offering Level V protection (Is resistant to .50BMG).

Daemonium typically attach armour to the upper section of there skull, spines and fully encase there torso region. Additional thinner plates are applied to the limbs, offering protection from small arms, fragmentation of explosives and bladed weaponry. This arrangement suits them perfectly, as when in battle the Daemonium lower themselves onto all four limbs keeping there more vulnerable underside close to the ground offering only there heavily armoured back to be exposed to enemy attacks.

Daemonium Slang terms:

Soft Plate (Mild Insult, often used to lord superiority over others)
A Daemonium who has yet gained the wealth to commission his own set of plate armour, these Daemonium tend to be new initiates with little to no money. They have to rely on speed and the toughness of there natural scales to protect them from harm, often a vest is worn containing cheep ballistic plates to offer superior protection.
