So..yeah she's got a plan....Now she's off to go chat to the person she phoned a few pages back and hopefully they can come up with a plan together
I'm like insanely happy with the last two panels....I kinda accidentally learned about overlay....well i didnt learn so much as clicked it by accident and messed around with it which is what got some of the lighting effects, yep teh chaotic learning process of the squiggle strikes again.

As irnsfw noted I wouldn't call it blackmail so much as evidence, as without that recording if she accused him of blackmailing her it's basically her word against her superior officer, and to prove it would require showing that Marrelis has incriminating evidence he's using against her. With the recording though he basically admitted it, and she was vague enough in her words that there's no way to know what the blackmail material involves such that it's now possible to make the case that he is indeed blackmailing her without having to bring out the blackmail itself as evidence.

I'd say the previous page included a lot of incriminating words. He admits to blackmailing her, demands she submits to a spanking, and criticises her underwear. And the way she picked her words, it makes it very clear that this is an ongoing thing, he's into adult baby stuff, he's forcing her to do it, and she's not comfortable with it. There's nothing on either recording to show that she'd be comfortable doing it with someone else; her recording gives her some kind of plausible deniability. Some people might be judgemental; some might be sympathetic. But once the recording is out, releasing the video would be a career-ending move for him.

nO i LITERALLY HAVE NO CLUE i WISH i COULD TELL YOU. i LITERALLY JUST SCRIBBLED LIGHTER COLOURS....(sorry I just realised the cat caps locked my machine).... I just scribbled colours over the top and then blurs stuff around like there was no real...technique...I will need to experiment more LOL
I mean realistically Star has the bigger stick here. Can he ruin her career, stain her reputation and wreck her relationship with friends and family? Yes. But she has a recording of him admitting to blackmail and engaging in what amounts to sexual harassment of a Subordinate...the consequences of which would include everything he can do to star plus probable jail time
She has his balls in her hands and she can squeeze at any moment he's gonna have BLACKMAIL and Abuse Of authority and rank Ontop of him using leverage, Rank and Blackmail to force one of his subordinate (star) to Preform a lewd act (spanking is considered lewd behavior in most States aND countrys) He could face dishonorable discharge and heavy crimes GO STAR
I hate the feeling of reading an older book (like there's a lot of chapters/pages) and suddenly I'm at the end and I realize I actually have to wait. But i'm not going to mind waiting so much for this comic book, I'm looking forward to your comics!

Finally getting to a point where I'm not unreasonably stressed out by reading this again c:
I'm sure it's been stressful to write, too, but I've kinda missed the simpler times from the start of the comic where it was Star getting to explore new things specifically as a form of escapism (especially when it seemed like she was so hesitant specifically because she was scared it would follow her back into her normal life).
