"Never, and I truly emphasize NEVER, underestimate the power of love even from a distance. In this day and age we've come to find that our closest friends could be hours, days, to entire continents from us. How rarely do we see them in our doorstep, if ever. We're held back by the limitations of distance and have to make due as best we can while we stay so far apart, whether by choice or not. It may not be in person, but you are absolutely still a voice, still a living being giving that friend time and attention. You've added to their day without even being in their presence, at their home, able to give them that visual element. All relying and depending on text or voice with perhaps a video element thrown in on occasion, it's a warped reality to what we would flourish in if we were all together in person. And yet, we make it work, sometimes even more so than before, and give ourselves an opportunity we might otherwise have never found. And if that's not something to cry and celebrate life on, then I don't know what is. The fact that I can love somebody from across the country to all the way on the other side of the world all the same as somebody who lived down the block tells just how gorgeous and opportune humanity and reality is. I've met the most important people in my life through a means I'd argue I'd never have found them without that medium. And yet, they hold such incredible value to me, and me to them, and I will die overexercising myself in the love I feel for them every single day. That much I know for damn sure."

I was very fortunate to get an incredible surprise birthday present from
RexRoyale this year, drawn by the ever so sweet and talented 
SaberKitter. I was very shocked by this and Karidas' thoughts really went into what this commission would be. I bawled my eyes out when he sent it my way and thought it was cute as could be, but also his inspiration for it made me feel purposeful and valuable. I love that mane to death and cherish him every day. Saber as well is such a generous and lovely soul that I couldn't have imagined this coming out better than through her talent, so I'm very thankful she took the time to draw my face! Thank you both so very much for this gift. I love you very much and hope that some looking will check you both out <3<3<3
