seeing as ark is the prince, i shan't suppose ark has any ability to make these naysayers toe-the-line better \ or, if nothing else, hold a public court to (diplomatically) explain why he "favours" cobb such as ark does?
no?
it's true: even within the same species, amongst other tribes, there is this sort of discrimination / prejudice, and other.. .."not friendly" practices happening
why, only a couple of hours ago, as a matter of fact: i read that there is a high chance for the cubs of female spotted hyenas (that is, cubs of the same mother) to engage in a deadly sort of survival of the fittest with each other.
in my research, i saw nothing about the mothers feeling the need to curb this from taking place, either; what i did find, rather, was that these mothers ". . .are very protective of their cubs, and will not tolerate other adults, particularly males, approaching them"¹
these behaviours seem.. ..well, they seem "needless" to me.
that is, giving someone shit on the mere basis of their being an outsider.
and not for the actual contents of their character.
alas.
