2017 art going back to Charley's roots as a bungling cartoon burglar... With entirely predictable results.
I guess being a chubby raccoon isn't exactly ideal for a life of crime, being fat and short and sort of clumsy makes it a bit more challenging.

You know, I have actually considered a story involving him getting stuck in day care... After his baby disguise helps him complete a heist, he makes his escape with his pram full of stolen loot, but the police are hot on his trail. To hide from the fuzz, he takes a quick detour into the gated yard of a day-care center, rings the doorbell, and hops into the pram, ready to be taken inside and away from the pursuing police.
Of course, from there, he's treated like a bratty toddler, and has to choose between day care and jail--he needs to keep up the act long enough for the cops to stop patrolling the area and to avoid causing suspicion among the carers, but he also wants to track down his pram after a member of staff rolls it away so he can retrieve his loot--and the watchful eyes of the babysitters are always on him, ready to send him to time-out or spank him or put him in a crib, not to mention the mittens they put on him make it very hard to turn any of the doorknobs (or do anything requiring any dexterity, really) and the crinkling of his diaper makes it all but impossible to move quickly, or sneak around...
Will our "hero" manage to retrieve his loot and escape at some point? Will he be found out and turned over to the police? Or will he be forced to serve his time in day-care, under the constant watch of the babysitters? Only time will tell...
