While werewolves might be immune to the diseases themselves there is still the possibility of potentially carrying the virus and transferring to others whom aren't immune so it's a sensible measure for the protection of others as well as setting a good example. Socks would be an easy way to make a mask that would fit over the snout and it's not as though werewolves would generally wear them so just a case of getting a few packs. I don't suppose a few more curious or funny looks from humans make any difference either.
Masks suck, they don't stop HIV, Ebola, Zika, H1N1, SARS, or any other viruses. Social distancing doesn't work They're just meant to control and direct people with the excuse of "keeping them safe." In fact I'll go so far as to say, more tyranny has been committed in the name of "safety" then ever before in human history. This is why I don't believe ANYTHING the government tells me. Because I know the masses will eat anything up they dish out like fast food.
