There is this mysterious new Pokemon region, called Ariset. It's an oasis region located in an area known as the Endless Sands! In this region, all the pokemon have a nice shine to them, and their bodies have elegant, gold markings and coloring on them.
You throw the Master ball and it hits! It bonks the pokemon on the head and drags them inside the ball. There they are subjected to a nice bit of hypnosis to get them to better serve their new trainer.
