I've had boys in middle school try to pull the fake date prank. Joke was on them cause when they asked I said no, I don't date douche bags. Also, I could usually hear they're friends snickering behind them. It's a shitty nasty thing to do to someone. It feels pretty shit when you know that the student body things you're so unattractive that the idea of someone wanting to date you is a joke.

Yeah. I had that happen once. I was a sophomore in high school and I had a crush on this senior in my band class. Has my friend tell me he wanted to go on a date with me which, of course, gets me excited. I should have known better but, you know. Stupid teenage girl brain kicked in. I was devastated after I learned it was just a prank.

It is the worse fucking prank. I've seen kids who spent years thinking they're unlovable because of pranks like that one.

That was me for the longest time honestly.
