Looks like Eleanor. *g*
Ok, I had to post this because the more I looked at it the more I liked the pic. I don't know why. Not a 'good' shot apart from the Mach 1 and even then it's small and not terribly crisp. I guess the shot just reminded me of the movie.
For all of those who haven't seen the original...go watch it!
Unrelated car flick: For all those who have not seen "Rendezvous"... take a spanner and bash it firmly across your knuckles. That's your punishment for missing that short film!

I don't really care much for Mustangs in general (Oh shit here comes the onslaught of 'die now' posts XD but really... if I had to pick one I do like the fastbacks. I have a big soft spot for hatchbacks too tho. I LOVE the Triumph GT6, the MGB GT, Datsun B210, and other hatchies from hell. LOL
The fastback 'stangs were nice too I must admit. Bullit-esque era..yeah. I'd own a Mach1 of this era or the 68 fastback...altho the 440 R/T Charger made me a lot wetter. XD If I had to pick a muscle car to own it would be a Roadrunner. There were a few of those that hung out in Walnut Creek too. I have a pic somewhere...
Yeah.. I do love Vanishing Point and I'd love a white Charger. <3

*waggwaggwagg* I found a Mach 1 in the woods a few years ago rusted into the ground. It was very sad to see. It has since been pulled out of the when the area was logged or buried which is even more sad. Fantastic cars, hatches are always cool, I agree. I am a bit of a Camaro fan myself. *hugs*
*wags!*
Ooh that would have made some neat pics tho! Bummer it died in the woods... and I am kinda glad not many folks like hatchbacks..it means they are cheaper to buy used ;D
Ooh bitchin Cameros eh? I really like some of the early 70s models! VERY sexy IMHO! I'd much rather have a 71 camero than a mustang.

Sweet! I've been developing a strong lust for an early 70s Camaro.. the one in the Gorillaz vid didn't help me shake that either. Also there are a few running around the hood that I like.
Mmm 70s Challenger...yeah..you shoulda XD
Challenger or Charger, either would make me happy!

I remember seeing the early 70s Camaro when I was young back in the late 70s and thought it was the new model coming out since it looked so much better than the current models at the time. When I found out it was actually the older model, I was surprised how Chevy messed it up with things like the wrap around rear window and taillights.
As for other early 70s cars I like, throw in the Trans Am and Cuda. Hell, I even like the Maverick of that era. I guess I have a soft spot for it.
