After seeing the new weapon systems in the next generation army weapons, I thought it would be fun to draw a design.

This is the HRS-3 Light Machine Gun
It fires caseless 7.62x45 from a belt fed box

Tho I gotta say that one‘s a bit to space-ish for me. Now I‘m thinking about uploading my weapon systems here too hmm...

I just started scribbling in wildly and I saw a few fun shapes to use, essentially it started with the upper receiver and the shroud. 😁💜

Though, I don't know why the barrel shroud(?) at the front looks kinda over-extended, the fact that the LMG looks open-bolt is a nice touch OvvO

I thought it might look good as a muzzle break to keep the flash down and a way of preventing debris in the barrel
