Because I have a few of these and doubt Nintendo will ever let us see these two together in a good game ever again considering origami king, color splash, sticker star, and crafted world exist and suck. I know that might not seem important and or pointless, but it has been worth noting that nintendo has less and less character interaction with their characters in their games and have had a mountain of just dumb moments that make me less likely to believe they will ever learn from them despite the fact they did make great games for the switch. The problem there is that most of them are made from other sub teams in Nintendo that actually freaking listen and want to make money.Next level, great team, love Luigi's Mansion 3 and strikers. The legend of Zelda team, amazing team who test their games and give them the time they need to actually be fun for the most part, other than phantom hourglass which was glitchy as heck for me. Then there was Odyssey that was made with the director of Mario 3D world who was responsible for getting us the story we actually enjoyed in so many games that he was the reason as far as I know that Galaxy 1 even explained Rosalina in the first place cause he kept driving Myamoto nuts to get any story out. Now we have Tanabe trying to claim you can no longer change the characters making me question why make a role playing game with any kind of story if nothing changes or has any point other than shut up we need money and a game to tide you over till the pandemic happens to die off. Meanwhile Origami King just is freaking abysmal for me when it came to the writing, the tutorial goes on longer than the notorious 3 hour opening of Persona 4 which is freaking dope now that I get to play that on PC. The thing is they clearly state they do not wanna remake thousand year door, but the main partner you have stapled to your hip so hard Charles Martiney got pushed out of voicing paper Mario,is the most irritating clone of Goombella down to trying to force the message, ask me hints 5 times through out the entire thing, and proceeds to tell you anything she can about literally anything that happens, even if you did not ask. Water drain out cause you hit the switch explanation,hit a save block after already having done so before:explanation, had your third battle after just getting reminded of how basic the combat is: explanation of the exact, same, shit you already were just told and could NOT skip. There is more, and out of context these might seem pedantic, but she did this the whole hour and a half of playtime I had. Never mind the fact Bowser acts nothing like his brash, brute, and prideful self in past games, he is more just a minor nag who is out of the plot so fast that you spend almost as much time with him as you do the trailer. Luigi is there, he does nothing other than point out the obvious and do what a game character does, not what he would do to such a degree he is still looking for a key well after the castle is gone and he and Mario are free. Sounds funny, but was not played off for laughs. He took his car and left the plot. All you have is Olivia, that whooooole time. Yeah sounds fun.....
