I have a really hard time with armor and weapons its a winning complement ^^; *hugs*

I'd just have a hard with the line-art myself ><. How do you do it? SAI? I'm trying to build up the courage to start line-art for my own works but...i lack the motivation :|

Here's what i do for armor stuff:

1) Rockman X Armor: Sure it's a bit hard edged but if you take that in another direction, you can alter it to make it more...to your liking ^^

2) use video games! Zelda, FFantasy, etc.

3) Clothing: if you have a blanket that pretty big and size and are able to wrap around yourself, wrap it around in unusual patterns. This doesn't have to be the hard, metal type. I guess if you wanted to create like a magical being, this would be more of the thing for him/her/it.

I just use a pen and pencles. I barely know my way round photoshop ^^l
However, i really like satoshi urushiharas armor designs
