There are many interpretations about the origin of the wendigo, but one always remains the same - it is a cannibal who never gets enough of it.
People who are dying of hunger, who begin to eat human meat from despair, gradually become wendigos, lose their human appearance, become unimaginably strong and nourishing.

Usually wendigo is associated with a fierce winter, but I wanted to draw it in a slightly different setting.
