Another entry into the diary of the almost immortal magic user, Enedia. Timeline-wise, Caitlyn and Geoffrey are the most recent cursees to enter the realm, long before she soon becomes part of the staff of the school that Karen is a student of.
This was something I wrote during a rather dark point, something that I know I'll go back to, but hope that there is a long time before it happens. A dear, great and intelligent friend of mine helped edit this story and the thumbnail was created by Ariana Leyva as a part of the BLM Receipt Art Requests that she offered. I hope you like it. I will say that I might look back on it and think that there needs to be more, but for now, I'm very happy with the work that Ariana, my good friend and I did.

It's rough, but it has great potential, and it helps to see a little of something that may have helped her to realize her way may not necessarily be the right one, that not all people are necessarily the animals she thinks they are, that they must be.
Such knowledge would scar her, indeed, and cause her great pain, for it is a belief that she held for so many centuries. And yet, now she sees the truth, that every man, woman, and creature is different. That they all have their own stories, their own traits, their own needs and desires that are so much more infinitely complex than the base instincts of the beasts her magic has forged.
It make sone wonder just how long she will continue this path before she stops. Perhaps she will do as Acrathia once did, and choose to change those wicked people while providing the gentler ones the chance to live more peacefully. Or perhaps it will be something else. She must decide her fate, as we all must.
It will be interesting to see just what fate she will choose with her mother.

Really, I have to thank Nerull for taking her into a new direction, letting her go from a force for revenge and chaos to a woman who has to learn to trust those who she believes she can sense some good in. The second RP that I did with him, the moment that he apologized for groups of the human race treating her so terribly, I felt like that was a fantastic turning point for her character. The first one that ever apologized genuinely on behalf of all the injustices that she has encountered and experienced.

I had a set goal with Enedia, leading to the final moments before her eventual death, but that could change. It really depends on how her character has grown.
