I'm far, far from the biggest star wars fan, hell i barely even watched more than 20 minutes of it, but lightsabers are just fun to paint one way or another. bzzzum bzzzzzum!

While the new movies are definitely terrible, the animated series like The Clone Wars are brilliant and construct an interesting lore and contribute to character development :)
Awesome painting as usual, the pose, the expression really convey the feeling of the Light Side of the Force !

At the time I was expecting more than a bad version of a Kurosawa movie redone by Eastwood then into a visual comic book by Lucas, but then I got intrigued by the alternate universe idea with lasers and gunslingers like Solo. Turnoffs were the walking carpet from Shaggy Dog (remembered old Disney live-action movies), the obvious laurel and Hardy spin on the two robots. And an affinity for idiots in plastic armor that is obviously not much protection from a blaster of low caliber.
Special effects were rather James Earl Jones' voice was a highlight though. And amazing in the detail. all that bluescreen work, swinging broomsticks made of light. all the heroes were short as buddy hacket.
