Note: Ooold picture xD... but he's still my baby D:
This is Spike, an American alligator, I would normaly put this on my photography account, But I think spike desserves a place here, and besides, unlike my others, this picture wasnt inteaded to be all artistic, just to show a friend ^^ I wokred with him at the San Diego County Fair 2005 and he was my baby. I absolutely loved him, and hope I get to work with him again 2006. He weighed about 25-30lbs, but after carrying him around for a couple hours it feals like 300 @w@;
Note: I do NOT promote alligators/crocodiles/or ANY wild animal as PETS. He is still a dangerous animal and could easily break bones if he wanted to. These guys should NEVER be looked at as pets, regaurdless of license or experience.

Hey! Good to see another alligator handler! I work at Gatorland and handle little babies like these all the time. I love it! And you're right about it feeling like 300 pounds after a while XD Keep on working with those snappin' lil' beauties pal! Oh and thank you for mentioning they DO NOT MAKE GOOD PETS! So many people don't get that!
Oh man I wish I still voulenteered at this place, I miss these guys so much ;A; Although I did go from here to working at a reptile zoo for a couple years and dealt with snakes and lizards big enough to eat your dogs <3 Guh I miss them so much ;^; I've never been to florida but Gatorland has always been a place I wanted to visit. Whats it like working there?
