I do wonder what kind of influence having protogens for parents will have on his daughter. It depends on how old she is - 3, IIRC? - but by the time she's in high school, she may start "experimenting" on herself with biotech and genetics unless the protogens tell her who her biological parents were and why and how she came to be raised by cyborg sergals. Even then, I don't think she'll have the most stable physiology - I could easily see her permanently attaching a bionic tail or modifying her ears to be on top of her head and more sensitive. TL;DR: We may end up with a seriously hardcore furry, and this could make a nice spin-off.
